Frontier UPDATE: CWA and Verizon reach tentative agreement
CWA and Verizon have reached an agreement in principle to extend the collective bargaining agreements for a four-year period. Those Agreements will eventually accrete the NY Frontier bargaining unit members into the Verizon New York Agreement with CWA. The current agreements are set to expire on August 1, 2026. If finalized and ratified by the membership, the agreements will extend through August 3, 2030.
The company and unions are documenting the understanding in signed contracts and expect to have that completed this week, at which time we will communicate further details.
